Sky’s battleground breakdown: Bass | The Australian

When Parliament returns this week, all eyes will be on Bridget Archer, the MP representing the government's most marginal seat.

In her first term, the Bass MP stood out by speaking up on issues that put her at odds with Coalition colleagues.

Ms Archer holds the seat at a margin of just 0.4 per cent, in an electorate which has been synonymous with swing seats for decades.

Since the 90s, neither Liberal or Labor have been able to hold Bass for more than two consecutive terms.

Ms Archer will be up against Labor's Ross Hart, the former MP ousted at the last election by just 563 votes.
