Construction site collapse closes Sydney CBD street

One man had a lucky escape and traffic was thrown into chaos when scaffolding collapsed at a construction site in Sydney’s CBD on Wednesday.

The scaffolding fell 80m onto an Australia Post van parked on Pitt St, below the construction site above the new Gadigal Metro stop, about 9.30am.
