Car crash triggers wild smash as freight train ‘slices’ through stranded ute in Herne Hill, Perth

Two men have avoided serious injury when a freight train steamrolled a ute stranded at a level crossing in Perth’s east.

7NEWS secured video of the moment the ute was smashed into pieces by the impact in Herne Hill about 5pm on Thursday.
