Western Australia’s Wheatbelt shaken by 3.7 magnitude earthquake

A 3.7 magnitude earthquake hit Western Australia’s central Wheatbelt overnight.

The quake epicentre was recorded south-east of the town Wyalkatchem, about 192km east of Perth, at 5.40pm Thursday, according to GeoScience Australia.

The earthquake struck at a depth of 6km.
