Iconic WA Leeuwin tall ship damaged as another ship crashes into it in Freemantle Port

Two people have been injured and Australia’s largest sail-training tall ship substantially damaged when a container vessel crashed into it at Fremantle Port.

The 332m Maersk Shekou hit the docked STS Leeuwin as the container ship was entering the port about 6am on Friday morning.
