Cottesloe Beach shark sighting: 3.5 metre great white spotted lurking off Perth beach, locals warned

A great white shark has been spotted off the coast of a popular Perth beach.

Beachgoers are urged to remain cautious after the 3.5m creature was seen lurking around Cottesloe Beach about 11.30am on Wednesday.

The shark was seen roaming around about three kilometres from the shore.
