Nicholas Braun knew a couple years ahead of time that the role of Jim Henson in the new film Saturday Night was being written with him in mind. But when it came to pulling double duty as Andy Kaufman, he was less fortunate. The original actor, Benny Safdie, got a greenlight on a movie he was going to direct and had to leave the project—so Braun found out he was playing two characters in the same movie just weeks before cameras rolled.
