Darwin braces for extreme heatwave: Near 40C forecast after hottest September in over 100 years

Darwin is expected to reach near 40C this week, following its hottest September in more than 100 years.

The top-end city is set to reach at least 35C every day for the rest of the week, with Weatherzone warning an “extreme heatwave” will grip the top end in the coming days.
