Just in time for Halloween, a remake of American Psycho has been announced. Luca Guadagnino, director of Call Me By Your Name and Challengers fame, will tackle the “potent and classic IP”—to quote Lionsgate chair Adam Fogelson — in a turn of phrase that sounds straight out of the mouth of its titular character, 27-year-old murderous Wallstreet yuppie Patrick Bateman.
