Magistrate ‘not persuaded’ by Perth man’s brain injury plea in bid to avoid jail

A Perth man who sparked a widespread police search after cutting off his monitoring bracelet has failed to argue that a brain injury should mean he avoids more jail time.

Brett Ronald Maston was arrested in May after he was allegedly found in possession of methamphetamine and unlicensed guns.
