“I often get a pie but lately, I’ve had some amazing sharing steak dishes. They always do nice things with Brandade’ and cod’s roe with soft-boiled eggs. And they have some very St John-y dishes, which I used to have when I was in London like blood cake with brown sauce and the desserts are always bang on. The treacle tart is consistently brilliant.”
