How Patek Philippe’s Nautilus Reflects 2024’s Horological Tumult

It’s been a tumultuous year for watches, and a dramatic one for Patek Philippe. I revere Patek’s history (the reference 1518 from the 1940s is a masterpiece), have written that 2022’s Calatrava 5226g is the greatest watch of the 21^st century, and had my mind blown after spending a day wearing an unpolished 1978 Nautilus 3700.
