Australia have axed opener Nathan McSweeney for the Boxing Day Test.

Multiple reports suggest the 25-year-old will be left out of side to face India in next week’s crucial fourth Test.

McSweeney, who made his debut in the first Test in Perth, has passed 10 just once in six innings.
