Crashed Rottnest seaplane owned by tour company founded by pilot Troy Thomas, who died in fatal Broome crash

A tragic link between the seaplane tour company involved in a crash off WA’s Rottnest Island yesterday and a fatal 2020 crash has been revealed.

The seaplane crashed during takeoff, after it reportedly hit Phillip Rock near the entrance to Thomson Bay about 4pm on Tuesday.
