Starmer’s downfall seems to be trusting a formula that isn’t entirely working for her. Mildly contemporary knee-length shirt dresses (routinely in red, assumedly a Labour method-dressing situation), with shoes that don’t match (silver slingbacks? Excuse me? Straight-up trainers? Come on now). It’s as if striving for style that thrills is seen as lavish and gauche in the eyes of the Starmers unfortunately.
