Banned AFL player Joel Smith hits out at ‘harsh’ trafficking label: ‘It’s one thing I’m definitely not’

Former AFL player Joel Smith has spoken for the first time on the cocaine saga that led to a lengthy doping ban.

The 29-year-old ex-Melbourne defender is not eligible to play in any organised sport until 2028 after testing positive for cocaine following a match in 2023.
