Warning as floodwaters rise to level ‘never seen before’ in NSW

Intense falls and major flooding have hit NSW as a slow-moving system dumps rain, causing a major river to rise to the highest level in almost 100 years.

Residents have been airlifted off roofs as town centres are inundated, with some communities told to stay indoors amid widespread flooding.
