Update as disgraced former AFL umpire Troy Pannell fronts court

Former AFL umpire Troy Pannell has fronted court for the first time since trying to flee Victoria and crashing into a tree.

The 48-year-old has been accused of defrauding his former employer, SeaRoad Shipping, of close to $9 million.
