For anyone who grew up in London in the ’90s, seaside school trips to Brighton were a rite of passage. Memories of feeding paper tokens into arcade games, hunting for a ruler with my name on and nibbling on Brighton rock while hobbling over the stony beach flood my mind each time I visit.
