Cat management in Tasmania: New strategies explored | The Examiner

Based on the 27,728 households in the Launceston council area as of the 2021 national census and an estimate of 1.4 cats per household used to draft the Northern Tasmania Regional Cat Management Strategy, it’s fair to say there are about 11,000 domestic cats in the area.
