Veteran defender Jayden Laverde’s move to Giants confirmed days after being delisted by Essendon

Greater Western Sydney head of football Jason McCartney has confirmed the club will recruit axed Essendon defender Jayden Laverde.

Laverde was officially delisted by the Bombers last Sunday, along with fellow veteran Todd Goldstein.

But the 29-year-old will continue his AFL career at the Giants.
