Landholders succeed with Merryoula Road recognition in council roads hierarchy

Councillors have voted to boost priority for a rural road as part of a new Roads Hierarchy adopted on 12 November.

The 8.5-kilometre Merryoula Road had been placed in the lowest of six priority levels, which would have classed it as a service track without planned or unplanned repair.
