A 15-year-old boy has been charged following a fatal stabbing in Sydney.
Emergency services were called to Bruce Purser Reserve on Caballo Street, Rouse Hill following reports of a stabbing around 4:20pm yesterday.
When Police arrived they found a 17-year-old boy with a stab wound to his leg.
He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, he died at the scene.
About 7.30pm, a 15-year-old boy was arrested after presenting himself to a police station in Sydney’s north-west.
That teenage boy has now been charged with murder and officers are still looking for up to two other people allegedly involved in the incident.
The teen will face a Children’s Court this morning.
In a statement NSW Premier Chris Minns said he was “deeply saddened” and extended his condolences to family and friends.
“It is an unimaginable loss and the whole community will feel an impact,” he said.
