Vision shows a bystander overpowering one of the shooters and disarming him. He has been identified as a 43-year-old father and was shot in the process.

NSW Premier Chris Minns said the people of NSW are wrapping their arms around the Jewish people.
“This attack was designed to target Sydney’s Jewish community on the first day of Hanukkah.
“Our heart bleeds for the Jewish community tonight. I can only imagine the pain that they’re feeling right now to see their loved ones killed as they celebrate this ancient holiday.
It’s a responsibility of all Australians to wrap their arms around Australia’s Jewish Community.”
One of the alleged gunmen may have been known to police, with police raiding homes in western Sydney following the shooting.
Officials would not speculate if there was a third person involved.
Police also revealed they found a vehicle on Campbell Parade which contained explosive devices which have since been detained.
Emergency services remain at the scene of the crime late into tonight and the area is expected to be closed for a couple of days.
Australia’s terror threat level is not being raised.
