Hawthorn AFL star Will Day set for mid-season return after undergoing shoulder surgery

Hawthorn midfielder Will Day has gone under the knife to repair his dislocated right shoulder, 7NEWS chief AFL reporter Mitch Cleary revealed.

The luckless 24-year-old went down at training last Thursday, the latest blow after two years ravaged by a complex collarbone injury and foot troubles.
