Champagne Sales Have Dropped for the Third Year in a Row

The thirst for French bubbly is slowly but surely waning. 

Champagne shipments have dropped for the third consecutive year, according to new figures released by the Comité Champagne. The trade organization, which represents over 16,000 winegrowers and 350 houses in the appellation, reports that the number of bottles of Champagne shipped worldwide dropped to 266 million in 2025.
