Crosses the WA coast as Category 2 storm

Kimberley residents are being hit by wild weather tonight after Tropical Cyclone Luana crossed the coast north of Broome about 2pm [AWST].

Luana was a Category 2 system when it made landfall along the Dampier Peninsula and brings the potential for a significant storm surge.
