Perth weather: Thunderstorms on Wednesday, rainy cold front to cross metro area for WA Day long weekend

Perth could be in for a thunderstorm on Wednesday as a cold front moves across the metropolitan area, bringing a barrage of wet weather for the WA Day long weekend.

Between 7mm and 20mm is expected to fall and there is a chance of a thunderstorm in the evening as temperatures peak at 23C.
