Brisbane City Council slugs drivers more than $45 million in parking fines in less than a year

Brisbane drivers have been hit with more than $45 million in parking fines since last July, with the financial year still having a month to run.

Almost 249,000 fines have been issued by Brisbane City Council in the period, a significant jump of 56,000 fines compared to the previous year.
