My favourite villa in Spain

I go down to the lower ground floor where the open-plan living room and industrial-walled kitchen have floor-to-ceiling patio doors extending across the villa’s entire length, looking out onto the waves and the distant, curving coastline. The well-equipped kitchen (coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine) has a 10-seater dining table and a kitchen island where we gather to open my gift hamper of artisanal chocolates and a premium organic cava.
