NSW records first suspected case of bird flu on central coast

The first case of the H5 bird flu has been detected in NSW, after a suspected positive case was found on the states’ central coast.

Samples from a Giant Petrel near Hawks Nest, north of Sydney, tested positive for H5 influenza in preliminary testing.
