King Charles Hosts Andy Burnham in Buckingham Palace’s Rarely Seen Chinese Dining Room

The Chinese Dining Room is one of the most lavishly decorated rooms in the palace. Formerly known as the Queen’s Dining and Lunch Room, it is adorned with a number of furnishings and fittings from King George IV’s Brighton Pavilion, salvaged when Queen Victoria sold the pavilion to Brighton town council in 1846 to fund the construction of the East Wing.
