‘Irresponsible’ Max King call backfires on St Kilda as forward leaves return game with ‘hamstring tightness’

St Kilda forward Max King’s return to the AFL has ended in “disaster” with the 26-year-old failing to see out Sunday’s 13.15 (93) to 8.14 (62) win over North Melbourne.

King had been sidelined with knee injuries since June 2024 before recently suffering a hamstring setback in the VFL.
