Architect Albert Joseph Bodker completed his work on an Italian Renaissance-style residential building in Manhattan’s Upper West Side neighborhood in 1909. Dubbed The Turin, the 12-story pre-war cooperative apartment house went on to house some prominent names in arts and entertainment: late Dune star William Hurt and former director of the Museum of Modern Art, Rene d’Harnoncourt.
