Did Callaway Just Create A New Golf Club Category?

As if golf clubs needed another new category. But after playing Callaway’s new Quantum Mini Spinner, I’m a believer. This is what the company is calling a new top-of-the-bag “scoring wood” solution for golfers who need more spin, control and confidence when attacking greens from a distance. Essentially it’s a high-lofted club that lies somewhere between a fairway wood and a hybrid.

All I know is that I tried the 9-wood version of it this week….
