Sheikha Maytha collects art, owning a Banksy, which she declines to describe. Her favourite places to socialise in London are Oswald’s and 5 Hertford Street which she praises for the, you guessed it, privacy. But really, she prefers the private kind of social event, seeing friends ‘mostly at their homes or mine’ – or charitable events. On the topic of her favourite shop, she replies, rather endearingly: ‘It’s very difficult to answer because I don’t normally do my shopping.’
