“It’s just a car,” Bugatti’s head driving instructor tells me, repeating the reminder a few times as I stand beside the marque’s $4.8 million Bolide. The assurance comes at the end of a briefing rife with warnings before I drive the limited-edition model around the Miami International Autodrome, home to the city’s eponymous Formula 1 grand prix. “Actually, it’s a gun,” he adds with a smirk. “But it’s just a car.”
