I have no idea what my personal style signifier is. I suppose it’s my earrings. I always wear a sort of Italian type that hang and clip in at the back. I’ve probably got three or four sets – pearl, aquamarine – that I get from local stores in Venice and Parma. I like them because they’re slightly old-fashioned. My mum used to wear similar ones; so did my grandmother. They’re practical. Every time I wear any other type of earrings, they seem to fall out.
