Government ‘sought to correct the record’ on Grace Tame’s snub claims

Special Minister of State Ben Morton has “sought to correct the record” on claims that Grace Tame was not consulted on the new national child sexual abuse strategy, according to Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell.

Ms Tame told ABC News she had not been involved in the drafting of the government’s new strategy; however, Mr Morton refuted these claims, telling Parliament the government met with Ms Tame on several occasions regarding the strategy.
