After two years of low cases, big influenza season is coming

This year, the federal government released 20.5 million flu vaccines, and 8.8 million of those jabs had been recorded on the Australian Immunisation Register to date, according to the Department of Health. That compares with 9.6 million registered on the register in 2020 and 7.6 million in 2019.
