Tasmania has recorded 1,406 COVID cases, with 808 self-reported from positive rapid antigen tests.
It is a drop from Saturday’s 2,223 cases but health authorities have warned there will continue to be a significant increase in numbers.
The state’s total of active cases sits at 7,473.
