King Frederik of Denmark travels to Madrid with Queen Mary and their children – a year after controversial photographs of the monarch with a Mexican socialite in Spain rocked the royal family

Casanova has denied any romantic involvement with the King, and the Danish royal household has not commented. As per HOLA!‘s report at the time, a mutual friend of both the King and Casanova’s was intended to accompany Frederik to an art exhibition; he was unable to attend, and asked Casanova to go in his place. Hopefully, the family can now make some happier memories in Madrid, and put any rumours of marital strife to rest.
