Bikie boss killed in deadly Ballarat hit-and-run as driver remains on the run

A bikie boss has been killed in a deadly hit and run before the driver dumped the car and fled the scene early on Monday.

Police say a green Ford Fiesta struck the man on Butt St in Canadian, a suburb of Ballarat, just after midnight.
