After ten years in parliament, Indigenous Northern Territory politician Yingiya Guyula, the Member for Mulka, has resigned, citing the CLP Government’s introduction of “too many laws that are dehumanising, oppressing and destroying our communities and our people” as his main reason to quit politics.
